Instructions For Urine Drug Test

We advise that you do not use alcohol while on any of the control drugs.  We require regular drug tests. If you have been drinking alcohol within the last three or four days before doing a drug test it may show in your drug test. 

• If you are on clonazepam you must get a drug test at Quest Diagnostic lab close to you since they have the test which can detect the clonazepam.  Please make sure to go on their website and make an appointment before going there.

• You can also come in the office and do a drug test except if you are on benzodiazepines.  We have limited capability of performing in office drug tests for benzodiazepines.  

• Repeated failure to do a drug test or inconsistent may lead to revision of treatment plan including only being prescribed non controlled drugs or being discharged.
